1 word… Delicious! This beer is a must if you like hoppy beers. I’m hooked. Don’t let the name confuse you, it’s not a white or wit beer. When you see it at the LCBO read the back. It’s pretty funny!
The packaging is ugly as hell, but perfect for what it is. I’d rate it, but I can’t find my rating artwork. It’s been too long. Have to get back on the horse.
I wanted to try something a bit different for this video. Here is Filthy Rich a.k.a HIDDEN a.k.a Rich rehearsing a verse for the new song by BROKE. The song will be released on the BROKE myspace when complete. Featuring music by EXPENSIVE.
Now the beer… this beer is great and fairly cheap. It’s probably around $1.50 at the LCBO. Very refreshing with a hint of lime. As the Cool Beer brewery says on their website, it’s a great beer for male or female. Would I recommend it, definitely!
Vince, we finally did an Innis and Gunn video… the Canadian way. Too bad the first video we reviewed was banned by James. Understandable though. I mostly said what I said because I was getting James back for kicking me in the balls.
Anyways, here is my dad and I who are big fans of Innis and Gunn trying the Canadian Cask. Yum! Definitely worth trying, buy it while you can. I love the fact that my dad will sit with me and try all these beers and make videos. How cool is that!
Beau’s All Natural Brewing Company really have their shit together. Everything from the look of the packaging, to the website, to the Beer.
This was a really good beer. Nice taste to it. But what really sold me on this beer was the packaging. It’s incredible. I haven’t seen such nice beer packaging… since the Liquor Store at Christmas (Even still I think this trumps everything out there). The attention to detail is amazing, from the writing, the facts, just overall an excellent design. The website is amazing as well… visit theĀ Beau’s website. On packaging alone, I would give this beer 5 out of 5 happy faces. The beer is great, but not the best thing I’ve ever tasted. Here’s a just a few pics of the packaging. I don’t want to show to many because I don’t want to ruin the surprise when you buy it. BUY IT!
The price is a little high (around $15.00), but when you consider the cost of the printing, die-cutting and hand wrapped ribbon. Not to mention you get 4 x 600mL. That’s not a bad deal at all.
The first thing that caught my eye on this one, was the packaging. It’s so different from most beer packaging that I had to buy it. I also loved the name. Brought me back to being a kid. Although their definition of a Big Wheel was based on a ‘1870′s High-Wheel‘ Bicycle, mine is based on the bad ass three wheelers from the 1970′s. After looking at the packaging in the beer store I noticed it was from the Amsterdam Brewery. I am always a fan of their beer. The funny thing is I can’t find the Big Wheel beer on their site. Maybe the haven’t updated the site in a while, or they’re testing out the beer in the market before they commit to it. So my suggestion would be to buy this while you can, just in case it gets taken off the market.
Making this beer took a lot of trial and error. No one taught me how to make it. It really became a science. I became obsessed with trying to get it right. Now that I can get it about 90% of the time, I think it’s meant to be shared.
This has become a staple in my beer drinking, it looks cool and a great conversation piece at a party. For people that might not like the taste of beer, this drink could change your mind.
Do you have a beer that you think will make me gag? Maybe one that I will love?
