I really had high expectations for this beer. I knew about it for a few months prior to trying it… thanks to the dieline. (Note: If you watched the video before reading this, yes I messed up the URL in the video)

When I saw the design of that bottle I fell in love. Just a beautifully designed bottle, it almost gives me a circus feeling with class. I honestly think just based on the bottle it’s worth buying. But I’m a sucker for packaging. If you are a beer bottle collector, it’s worth having this in your collection. The gold ink has sparkle to it, not just a plain metallic. Hello low rider gold paint. YES! Have to applaud a company that spends the money on an ink that gleams like a Dayton rim.

I have to admit though… I was bummed by the taste of the beer. But if I think about it, what did I expect when I bought a beer that looks like a champagne bottle. $15 bucks wasted -- NO, An experience gained -- YES. You never know until you try.

I don’t know how long this beer will be available, so if you’re interested, buy it while you can. So far I’ve only seen it at the Queens Quay LCBO in Toronto. I’m sure it’s available all over, but that’s where I’ve been and know that it’s there in abundance.

I know it’s been a long time since posting and there are a few reasons for this…

1. Wife is pregnant
2. Video Camera died

When you have a pregnant wife who is also your editor, you have to pick your moments wisely. Not to mention it becomes the most important thing in your life. Yes, even more then beer.

We’re back now with our first attempt at making beer. I really have to give Jeff props for his research and dedication to the process. I’ve watched the video numerous times and to be honest it still confuses me. Ha ha. Very informative though. Jeff know his shit!

Visit the Anchor Brewing website. Unfortunately the website does not match the great packaging. Blah! Spend money on a proper design company! You nailed the packaging but the website is lacking. Do I hear a designers tear falling onto the keyboard. Well, suck it up! The information and gear are great though! I’m just disappointed in the look. I pictured more of a Sailer Jerry look.

I wanted to try something a bit different for this video. Here is Filthy Rich a.k.a HIDDEN a.k.a Rich rehearsing a verse for the new song by BROKE. The song will be released on the BROKE myspace when complete. Featuring music by EXPENSIVE.

Now the beer… this beer is great and fairly cheap. It’s probably around $1.50 at the LCBO. Very refreshing with a hint of lime. As the Cool Beer brewery says on their website, it’s a great beer for male or female. Would I recommend it, definitely!

Vince, we finally did an Innis and Gunn video… the Canadian way. Too bad the first video we reviewed was banned by James. Understandable though. I mostly said what I said because I was getting James back for kicking me in the balls.

Anyways, here is my dad and I who are big fans of Innis and Gunn trying the Canadian Cask. Yum! Definitely worth trying, buy it while you can. I love the fact that my dad will sit with me and try all these beers and make videos. How cool is that!

Yet another Lime beer. Not only is this a lime beer, but it’s a light lime beer. To be honest it’s been a few weeks since we made this video so I can’t truly give this the correct rating. I do remember it not being awful. It’s just like all the other lime beers. I guess it comes down to brand loyalty. Really this video isn’t about the beer… it’s about Adam pulling down his pants and grabbing my ass the entire video. Uncomfortable… fuck ya! Adam’s good shit though, can’t fault him for throwing me off my game.

My only beef is that he told Garth to shut the fuck up… in his own house!!!!!! Ha ha. Garth you should have handled that. It’s ok, when Adam throws his house party you can do the same.

Who loves Garth’s shirt!!!!! Ain’t that the truth.

You may ask why I’m giving this beer 2 smiley faces instead of vomits. All I have to say is, it’s a decent beer for the percentage. I mean 9.1%, that’s some crazy shit.

Would I drink this beer again, hell ya! It’s a cool name, the label’s an alright design. James even says it’s pretty good. That was a shock! All in all I wouldn’t drink a six pack of it in a sitting, but 1 in a night would be a good suggestion. (preferably earlier, to get the full taste… plus this beer hits you like a tonne of bricks)

I wish Mill Street had the full extent of their beer line on the site, but they don’t. The site at least gives you an introduction to Mill Street. Visit the Mill Street website.

As you’ll see in the video we all liked the beer. It’s not my favorite, but it was good. The funny thing was this video became more about posting a random comment on Gary’s facebook in front of him… showing him his ipod while posting… and him not realizing that it’s his ipod.

Although the Duggan’s Website isn’t worth looking at… here is the link Duggan’s Brewery. It’s too bad though because his product is good. I understand focusing on the beer first and everything else after. But people buy beer not just for taste but for the look and name. Just like wearing branded clothing. Anyways getting preachy. I just drives me nuts when a good product looks shitty!
